On Labor Day we hiked the Thomas trail up to the Catamount trail and were able to view some pretty amazing waterfalls up on the mountain. The boys did great and Hunter even hiked the first half (much to his dismay because he wanted to hike the second half too but it was too steep and rocky for him). As fall is approacing some of the leaves had started to turn yellow but in the next few weeks we should be in the full swing of fall leaves and we can't wait to hike in the beauty of the mountains in the fall.

We found a little cave perfect for hiding in with bad weather - or sleeping if you are a wild animal.

Hunter finally calmed down from being put in the carrier when he saw the water falls.
To get to the trails we had to walk up about a mile and a half of dirt roads - the boys were actually being sweet.

The drove to the continental divide after our hike
