Merry Christmas To All

We hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas this year. We were very fortunate to have a nice Christmas at home. Corbin was so fun to watch this year - he was so excited about presents and Santa. He wrote a letter to Santa and got to visit Santa at the airstation and that was just the begining. If you look in the background of the first picture you can see our presents on top of the cabinets because he has no patience not to open them - every day he would ask for us to tell him which ones were his and it was killing him that we wouldn't (we were afraid he would find a way to climb the cabinets). We had an advent calendar up and he was very diligent about updating the calendar every day and giving everyone the count down on how many more days until Christmas. On Christmas Eve he actually went to bed pretty easily but he woke up at 3:30am but we convinced him to go back to sleep until 7:30am when he ran into our room yelling "Santa came already there's more presents under the tree." It was very exciting to watch him open presents and comment "This is what I've always wanted" for every other toy. Hunter didn't quite get everything but he chose to be excited because everyone else was but when he saw his new car he was very excited. Overall we had a great Christmas and were able to have dinner with our friends the Mazels (we were with them in MI too) so we were very blessed this season.

Making Christmas cookies - or eating them if you're Zach and Corbin

Corbin really enjoyed icing the cookies and sampling the icing inbetween every other application

We made angels, gingerbread men, candy canes, helicopters, snowflakes, and wreaths

Santa's cookie plate and milk and carrots for the reindeer

The stockings were hung from the chimney with care

Walking on Christmas Day in the 80 degree weather (no snow here)
Corbin raced Hunter around the house

Zach's new ipod
Zach putting together Hunter's new toys
Corbin playing with his new trains

How adorable is he!

Hunter was so excited in his car.

I see Hunter got the ball popper thing too! Mike's aunt bought that for Matthew...he loves it but it takes so much energy out of Mike and I trying to chase all the balls down!
