While completing my recent task of getting finger printed (to volunteer at church and Corbin's school) at the Clay County Sherriff's office (35 minutes away) I ran into a sign for hiking and bike riding. So when the weekend rolled around we decided to head out early and try our hand at hiking with the boys and enjoying a cooler Saturday morning. While hiking in Florida means no hills, lots of mosquitoes, and random swampy marsh areas we did enjoy being outside and playing around and teaching Corbin about the outdoors.
The St. Johns River we ran into while exploring different paths
Corbin thought it was cool how squishy the surrounding marsh was
Here is the only stretch of nice straight pathThis is Zach and Hunter when we decided to turn around and head for the car
This is Corbin after running around for most of the hike - he decided he needed to be carried for over 20 minutes (add in the fact he weighs 50lbs and I was tired by the end too).
