Coast Guard Appreciation Day

SAR Demo - Savanah guys
Hunter Chilling
I love the boys in their new Coast Guard shirts
Hunter was not very into the demonstrations
This was Zach and the rest of the crew getting ready to take off
We went to Coast Guard Appreciation Day today in St. Augustine and were able to enjoy some fun in the sun. Zach had to fly today for the static display and for a drug interdiction display (this would be the video here) so Hunter and Corbin and I drove down together. It was a beautiful day filled with games for the kids, good food and drink, and lots of neat displays like a Search and Rescue display and the HITRON Drug Interdiction display. Unfortunately an over-torque at the end of the display caused the crew to have to fly home immediately instead of Zach getting to go to the beach with us so maybe tomorrow Hunter will finally get to the beach for the first time - we'll see.
